Ugly Princess

The Ugly Princess is a gentle and gracious wave catcher and thus the perfect buddy for small, soft summer days. Just like kissed by a prince these rather ugly board turns out princesses when gliding down the line. It is an entertaining board to ride smoothly and progressive at the same time in the weakest of conditions. The Ugly Princess has, just like a princess, a very sensitive responsive character.

The surfboard outline is fuller plane shape with a lot of volume especially in the nose area to catch waves with surprisingly less effort. The flatter rocker and deck profile help to carry more volume, giving the design plenty of stability when up and surfing. Additionally, full rails provide a forgiving and yet responsive feel. Depending on your own preferences and conditions of your home break you can surf the Ugly Princess with a squash, square or round tail.

We suggest a single concave bottom that provides top speed, drive and flow in the weakest of conditions.
