Looking back in surfing history, the Stinger surfboard confirmed our belief that the size of a surfboard should be smaller than the size of the wave. Inspired by this fact, we adapted this late seventies and early eighties shape to todays challenging conditions. As a result, we present the Reborn as a new version of the Stinger. The Reborn is a highly responsive, shorter and wider surfboard to claim rich rewards in dismal conditions.
The surfboard outline has a very straight plan shape and combines basically two boards in one: The front part of the board is more curved just like a shortboard, while the back part in more straightened for plenty of speed through flatter sections. The rocker is super flat to get you up to top-speed in the mushiest of conditions. The swallow tail turns with ease due to higher positioned wings and creates a pivot for water flow down the rail.
We suggest a bottom that runs from a slight single concave in the middle into an extreme vee out the tail. It gives the board great speed and looseness from rail to rail.
